Explanation: Predict the margin, in points, one team will beat another by.

Example: New England / New York Giants 11 - 13

This quote says the margin, in points, that New England will beat the Giants by is between 11 - 13.

If you think that New England will win by more than 13 points, you would go higher (buy).

If you think that New England will win by less than 11 points or not win at all, you would go lower (sell).

The Giants win 17 - 14 so the market settles at -3 or 3 to the Giants.

If you had bought at 13, you would lose your stake multiplied by 16 (13 - -3) or (13 + 3)

If you had sold at 11, you would win your stake multiplied by 14 (11 - -3) or (11 + 3)

Total Points

Explanation: Predict the total number of points scored in a particular match.

Example: San Diego v NY Jets - Total Points: 40 - 43

This quote says the total number of points scored in the game will be between 40 - 43.

If you think it will be more than 43, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 40, you go lower (sell).

The total number of points scored in the game was 36.

If you had bought at 43, you would lose your stake multiplied by 7 (43 - 36)

If you had sold at 40, you would win your stake multiplied by 4 (40 - 36)

Touchdown Shirt Numbers

Explanation: Predict the combined total of the shirt numbers worn by all players scoring a touchdown in a particular match.

Example: Indianapolis v Miami - TD Shirt Numbers: 250 - 270

This quote says the combined total of the shirt numbers worn by all players scoring a touchdown in the match will between 250 - 270.

If you think it will be more than 270, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 250, you go lower (sell).

Three touchdowns are scored by numbers 88, 82 and 25. The market therefore settles at 195.

If you had bought at 270, you would lose your stake multiplied by 75 (270 - 195)

If you had sold at 250, you would win your stake multiplied by 55 (250 - 195)

Quarter Points

Explanation: Predict the total number of points scored in one named quarter of a particular match.

Example: Green Bay v New Buffalo - 1st quarter points: 7 - 8

This quote says the total number of points scored in the first quarter of the game will be between 7 - 8.

If you think it will be more than 8, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 7, you go lower (sell).

The total number of points scored in the first quarter of the game was 10.

If you had bought at 8, you would win your stake multiplied by 2 (10 - 8)

If you had sold at 7, you would lose your stake multiplied by 3 (10 - 7)

Total Touchdowns

Explanation: Predict the total number of touchdowns scored in a particular match.

Example: Dallas v Philadelphia - Total Touchdowns 3.1 - 3.4

This quote says the total number of touchdowns scored in the game will be between 3.1 - 3.4.

If you think it will be more than 3.4, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 3.1, you go lower (sell).

The total number of touchdowns scored in the game is 1.

If you had bought at 3.4, you would lose your stake multiplied by 2.4 (3.4 - 1)

Touchdown Yardage

Explanation: Predict the total distance, in yards, of all the touchdowns scored in a particular match.

Example: NY Jets v New Orleans - Touchdown Yardage 80 - 90

This quote says the distance, in yards, of all touchdowns scored in the match will be between 80 - 90.

If you think it will be more than 90, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 80, you go lower (sell).

The total distance, in yards, of all touchdowns in the match is 68.

Field Goal Yardage

Explanation: Predict the total distance, in yards, of all field goals scored in a particular match.

If you think it will be more than 95, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 85, you go lower (sell).

The total distance, in yards, of all field goals in the match is 101.

If you had bought at 95, you would win your stake multiplied by 6 (101 - 95)

If you had sold at 85, you would lose your stake multiplied by 16 (101 - 85)

Team Touchdowns

Explanation: Predict the number of touchdowns scored by a named team in a particular match.

Example: Baltimore Touchdowns: 1.8 - 2.1

This quote says the number of touchdowns scored by Baltimore will be between 1.8 - 2.1

If you think it will be more than 2.1, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 1.8, you go lower (sell).

Baltimore do not score any touchdowns.

If you think it will be more than 54, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 51, you go lower (sell).

The shirt number of the scorer of the first touchdown is 80.

If you had sold at 51, you would lose your stake multiplied by 29 (80 - 51)

Total Field Goals

Explanation: Predict the total number of successful field goals kicked in a particular match.

Example: Houston v Dallas - Field Goals: 2.7 - 3

This quote says the total number of field goals in the match will be between 2.7 - 3.

If you think it will be more than 3, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 2.7, you go lower (sell).

The total number of field goals in the match is 5.

If you had sold at 2.7, you would lose your stake multiplied by 2.3 (5 - 2.7)

Team Performance

Explanation: Predict the total number of points scored by a named team in a particular match using the following scoring criteria: Win (25pts); Touchdown (15); Field Goal (5); Sack opposition quarterback (5); Miss a field goal or extra point (minus 5); Turnover by interception or fumble (minus 10)

Example: Jacksonville Performance: 46 - 50

This quote says that, using the above scoring criteria, Jacksonville's total number of points for the match will be between 46 - 50.

If you think it will be more than 50, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 46, you go lower (sell).

Jacksonville win scoring three touchdowns and converting two field goals. No kicks are missed. They sack the opposition's quarter back once and are also intercepted once. The market therefore settles at 75. (25 + (3x15) + (2x5) + 5 - 10)

This quote says that, using the above scoring criteria, the New England total number of points for the game will be between 47 - 50.

If you think it will be more than 50, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 47, you go lower (sell).

New England lose the game 28 - 24. The market therefore settles at 24.

Example: Chicago - Super Bowl Index: 34 - 37

This quote says that, using the above scoring criteria, Chicago's points score for the entire NFL season will be between 34 - 37.

If you think it will be more than 37, you go higher (buy).

If you think it will be less than 34, you go lower (sell).

Chicago lose in the conference final and score 50.

If you had bought at 37, you would win your stake multiplied by 13 (50 - 37)

If you had sold at 34, you would lose your stake multiplied by 16 (50 - 34)

NFL Divisional Index

Explanation: Predict how many points a named team will score in a particular division of the NFL using the following scoring criteria: Winners (50pts); Runners-up (25); Third place (10).

Example: Cincinnati - AFC North Index: 15 - 18

This quote says that, using the above scoring criteria, the Cincinnati score in their division will be between 15 - 18.

If you think Cincinnati will finish 1st or 2nd in their division, you go higher (buy).

If you think they will finish 3rd or 4th, you go lower (sell).

Cincinnati win the division and score 50 points.

If you had bought at 18, you would win your stake multiplied by 32 (50 - 18)
